Clean Spirited’s January Charity of the Month: Save Our Beach by DK

Clean Spirited is very pleased to announce our January charity of the month, Save Our Beach.  Save Our Beach is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to improving the water quality along the Southern California coastline. It was founded by Steve & Kim Masoner in 1999.  The began Save Our Beach because they live along the ocean (it’s literally their backyard) and would take long walks and pick up trash along the way. They were asked many times if they had any extra bags as people would see them picking up trash and wanted to help, so they started carrying extra trash bags on their walks. And then they decided that if there is that much interest in people that want to help, they would just make it easier for them by conducting a beach cleanup on a monthly basis!  You can find them at Seal Beach every 3rd Saturday of the month and at the Wetlands on the 2nd Friday of the month.  They can also help you set up your very own cleanup!  Clean Spirited is proud to donate $1 from every order during the month of January to this amazing organization!
