Clean Spirited is pleased to introduce our May charity of the month, Endangered Species International. Endangered Species International is addressing the real and urgent species extinction needs. More than 16,000 species are threatened to become extinct in the near future. They focus on species that have the biggest chance of becoming extinct including those that do not attract large media attention. These species ecosystems as a whole are a crucial component of their conservation strategy. They develop cutting-edge conservation science, implement this research in field projects around the world, and then link both research and results to local, national, and global policy by convening dialogues between governments, civil society and the private sector. Their staff is interdisciplinary ranging from endangered species experts and scientists to conservation awareness and communication leaders. Endangered Species International’s projects are aimed at solving clear and urgent problems by sound, sensible and applicable methods. They are also designed to spend almost every dollar in the field to bring concrete results. Their administrative tasks are kept efficient, simple, and direct. The design of their research and conservation activities fully incorporates indigenous and local people. Endangered Species International understands that species conservation is related to many social and environmental issues. All of their actions have minimal impact to the environment. For example, their paper comes from 100 percent recycled material using sag based ink. They minimize the use of paper and therefore reduce cutting down trees and global warming. All of their projects and programs encourage daily and long term positive environmental actions at all levels. To learn more about their environmental commitment, click here. Clean Spirited is proud to donate one dollar from every order during the month of May to this worthy cause.
